Patricia Haddock

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Patricia Gale Peters Haddock, born November 1, 1948, to Fredrick Henry Peters and Marion Tanner Peters in Upland, California. Pat passed away at home in Springville, Utah in the early morning hours of February 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her spirit, strength, and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all.

Pat grew up in Ontario, California where she discovered The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a faithful member of the church, she was able to build life-long friendships with other young women who all supported each other throughout their lives. Pat graduated from Chaffey High School and continued her education at Brigham Young University where she studied Physical Education and excelled on the swim team.

As a young woman, Pat met a wonderful man, and together they fell deeply in love. Pat married her sweetheart, Rodney Joseph Haddock, upon his return home from the Vietnam War. They were sealed on November 2, 1968, in the Los Angeles Temple. Soon after, they chose to start their family and were blessed with five children.

Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, a mother and a grandmother. Pat was a proud police wife of the Costa Mesa Police Department and enjoyed competing and playing sports with the other CMPD wives. As a stay-at-home mom, Pat was able to volunteer her time as a Den Leader, in the Girl Scouts, and on the PTA. Pat had a deep love of music and taught herself how to play a 12-string guitar. As her children grew, she shared quiet moments of strumming on the front porch, filling the air with gentle melodies. She treasured every moment with her grandchildren, hosting countless sleepovers filled with Disney movies, Diet Coke with Lime and ice cream.

She is survived by her five children and their loving spouses: Todd Haddock, Wendy Morgan, Benjamin Haddock, Heidi Roberson, and Karey Romney, 17 grandchildren, and her brother, Mike Peters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the Hobble Creek 15th Ward Chapel, 2379 East 1100 South, Springville, Utah. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
