Michael Albert Arroyo

MICHAEL ALBERT ARROYO SR.
Michael A. Arroyo 76, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2025. He was born June 27, 1949 in Ontario, CA the son of Emidio G. and Christine L. (Munoz) Arroyo.
He graduated from Chaffey High School and shortly after joined the U.S. Army in 1969. He achieved the rank of Specialist 4 and served in Vietnam as a Rough Terrain Forklift and Loader Operator from Jan to Nov 1970 and again from Jul 1971 to Apr 1972. He was honorably discharged in Jul 1975 and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Overseas Service bar, M-14 Sharpshooter and M-16 Expert qualifications. After his service he toured as a roadie with Tierra, then had a long career performing custodial and maintenance work for Ontario School District, Citrus College and Fresh Start Bakeries.
He was married to Mary Lou Arroyo(Lopez) July 17, 1976. They welcomed two children; Sabrina and Michael Jr. They divorced in 2000. He then married Yolanda Martinez on June 13, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his parents Emidio "Milo" & Christine Arroyo and his brother Samuel Arroyo "Sammy".
He is survived by his loving wife Yolanda; his daughter Sabrina Arroyo; son Mike Arroyo Jr. and his wife Tomya; step-son Mike Baiz and his wife Laurie; step-daughter Chrissy Rezendez and her husband Paul; step-son Raymond Baiz and his wife Reba; sister Emily Amaya and her husband Jimmy; sister Christella Stewart and her husband Stan; sister-in-law Sharon Arroyo; eight grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Michael enjoyed cheering on his grandkids at sporting events and rooting for the L.A. Chargers. He also liked road trips, camping and fishing. He built an extensive train city to continue his brother Sammy's hobby. He also enjoyed several years of taking long walks, naps and "snackies" time with his beloved dog Koko Krispy.
Michael will be deeply missed by many!
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 13 at Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2426 N Euclid Ave Upland CA, 91784. Reception to follow at same location.
