I only got the news sometime after My Dear Dr Blumenthal had passed. He treated me for many years when I had insurance and when I didn't. I looked at him as first my Dr and second as a friend that had the gift of lessening and being honest but kind. He had what many younger Drs.today know nothing about. Humanism. Rest in peace Doc.

Dr. Blu as i often called him was my doctor for four years and my brothers dr who had no insurance for the past year. He was a very kind and compassionate man and went above and beyond his call of duty. He used to see uninsured people at such a low rate, but always treated us the same. We will surely miss you Dr. Blu...

Only met you a couple of times in your Va. Beach office. I've not seen a more caring and compassionate doctor before then. Absolutly nailed my diagnosis on the first appointment and I've been searching for answers quite sometime. So unfortunate to loose one of the best. My prayers go out to the family.

To the Family,
So very sorry to learn of Harold's passing. Those times when I came to shul, I could always count on seeing him there...no doubt one of Rabbi Bornstein's favorites. Harold will be missed by all who knew him. Sincerely, Neal

Dr Blumenthal was a wonderful person, a caring knowledgeable. Physician, a pleasure to work with and a major loss to us in the Medical profession. I worked In the hospital Emergency Department, and Heritage Hall with him and he always answered his pages and saw his patients regularly. He took the time to listen to their concerns and never treated them as second class citizens because of age , gender or race. He also listened to the nurses and valued their input he was a joy to work with, we had many discussions and laughs during our many years of working together, he will be greatly missed by many. . May your family find peace in knowing he was a well asteemed man!
