Howard Knott Obituary

Howard "Howie" Evans Knott Jr., 89, of Virginia Beach, VA, went to be with his Savior on February 18, 2021.

Howie was born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 30, 1931. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Metcalfe, along with his three children, Brenda, Stephen, and Rhonda, and their spouses. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Howie had a servant heart! His military career, his daily tasks, and his active involvement in the community evidenced his tender heart and concerns for the needs of others. He also faithfully served as a deacon for many years at New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

A private graveside service will be held Monday, February 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a celebration memorial service at New Covenant Presbyterian Church at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jeff Elliott will officiate the service. Condolences may be offered to the family at:
