Isabelle Goolsby Obituary

Isabelle Wahab Goolsby SUFFOLK - Isabelle Wahab Goolsby, 94, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care. Mrs. Goolsby was a native of Hyde County, North Carolina, and had lived in the area for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Toy N. Goolsby and her son, Milton "Buck" Goolsby; her sisters, Malvina Wahab Williams, Muril Wahab Newman, and Emma Wahab Spencer. She is survived by her son, Kenneth E. Goolsby and his wife, Kay "Bug" Richardson. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 19, at 11 a.m. in Uzzell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Russell Leonard will be officiating. The family will receive friends in the home of the son. Memorial donations may be made to the Uzzel United Methodist Church Cemetery, c/o: Ralph Godwin Jr., 14605 Uzzell Church Road, Smithfield, VA 23430 or to a charity of one's choice. Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield is handling the arrangements.
