Jack Wallin Obituary
Virginia Beach - Jack Wilson Wallin entered his heavenly home Jan 30, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Blanco W. & Grace Wallin Sr; brothers, Blanco W. Wallin Jr and Robert D. Wallin; sister-in-law Jean Wallin and niece Margaret Ann Worrell. Mr. Wallin was born in Knoxville, TN Aug 19, 1924. He lived most of his childhood and adult yrs in Hampton Roads. During WW II he served in the US Army where he met his wife. He worked as a Master Plumber and later worked for and retired from the City of Norfolk. He loved sports and in earlier yrs served as President of NAS Little League. He was also a member and a former President of Chesapeake Athletic Club. He continued working part time after retirement for Honeybee Golf Course. This position allowed him to enjoy his favorite sport. He enjoyed life, had a marvelous sense of humor and loved his time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 67 yrs Colette Wallin; sister-in-law Peggy Wallin; daughters Linda W. VanderPas(Bill); Jackie White; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 4 nieces.
A memorial service will be held Fri, Feb 15, 2013 1 p.m. Kings Grant Presbyterian Church, VA Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Kings Grant Presbyterian Church, American Heart
Association or American Cancer Society.
Cremation Society of VA is handling arrangements.

To Jack,s Wife and family. May I add to the many well wishers in this time of loss. As a Golf Professional I had the pleasure and many fond memories of my time working with Jack. We shared many stories from our roots in Ocean View. May he rest in peace and always hit it 'RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE"
