James E. Turner, IV

Carrollton - James Edwin "Jamie" Turner IV, 35, died April 2, 2017. A native of Jacksonville, FL, he was the owner of J.E.T. IV Marine in Carrollton. He attended Isle of Wight Academy.

Survivors include his parents, Catherine Bennett and James E. Turner III; sister, Skye Taten and husband Bryce; paternal grandparents, Jim and Elizabeth Turner; uncle, Steve Turner and wife Cindy; nephew, Kai Taten; niece, Kalea Taten; and cousins, Adam and Steven Turner.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7, at 11 AM in Benns United Methodist Church by the Rev. Tommy Reynolds. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, Suffolk, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
