John S. Yeiser

Virginia Beach - John Stewart Yeiser, 68, passed away February 21, 2018.

Born in Owensboro, KY, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Daisy Yeiser. He was a retired Senior Chief Submariner from the U. S. Navy after 20 years of service.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Yeiser. Left to cherish his memory: a daughter, Jennifer M. Archer of Virginia Beach; son, James J. Yeiser of Virginia Beach; sister, Marjorie Wallace of Kentucky; and two grandsons, Dakona Ramos of Florida and Nikolai Archer of Virginia Beach.

A private memorial service will be held at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the United States Submarine Veterans Charitable Foundation via mail to USSVI Attention: Subvet Charity, P.O. Box 3870, Silverdale, WA 98383. The SUBVETS will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and John, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified on USS SEADRAGON SSN-584, will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot.
