Joseph V. Stuffel

Virginia Beach - Joseph V. Stuffel, 74, passed away on January 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 12, 1941 to the late Opal K. and L. Paul Stuffel in Vincennes, Indiana.

Mr. Stuffel served in the U.S. Navy and was an Electrician for General Motors where he retired after 27 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Catheryn A. Stuffel; sons Joseph V. Stuffel II and wife Amanda, and Jino Stuffel and wife Becki; daughter Karelyn Houston and husband Dennis; brothers Dale Stuffel and Victor Stuffel; sister Peggy Kelsey; and 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-7pm on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach VA, 23464.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11am on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Coastal Community Church, 2800 Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach VA, 23456. Burial will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Coastal Community Church, Virginia Beach, VA. You may offer your condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.

So sad to hear about Joe's passing. He was always a friend to all of the football players. I always thought that he enjoyed the "Breakfast" as much as we all did.

We are saddened by the loss of Mr. Stuffel. His smile and love will be miss but the positive impact that he has had on us all will last for generations to come.
