Kevin Tyler Bulifant
Virginia Beach - Kevin Tyler Bulifant, 45, of the 5600 block of Del Park Court, died suddenly July 19, 2013 in Gloucester.
A native of Richmond, Kevin graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in engineering and served in the Army, stationed in Berlin, Germany. He was employed by the city of Virginia Beach Public Schools as a project manager for 15 years and was a member of AOPA.
Survivors include his wife, Sonia Bulifant; his daughter, Emily; mother, Jody Preston-Maier; stepmother, Patsy Bulifant; father, Ken Bulifant; brothers, Mark and Shawn Bulifant; sisters, Julie DeLong and Lori Cowan; and grandmother, Grace Midget Ellis.
A memorial service with John Hobbs presiding will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday in Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach. A reception will follow.

Dear Jody: I just now learned of Kevin´s passing. I´m shocked beyond all reason. I know my Rob always kept up with him and those two together were always trouble.
Your name popped into my head for no reason so I looked you up and ran headlong into Kevin´s obit.
I´m a widow since Jan 2019 when Bob passed from Alzheimer´s. I´ve lived in Nashville for two years now to be close to son Tom and family.

Kevin was a kind, gentle man. I worked with him indirectly in the school system. He always had a friendly greeting and kind words. You must know that he is an angel right here on earth!

I was saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. I worked w/Kevin all of his 15 years w/VBCPS and, each time he came into the Purchasing office, he always had a smile on his face and when asked how he was doing, he always responded with "everything is lovely". He was a great person and will surely be missed by all who were blessed enough to know him and work with him. May God bless his family and give them strength during this difficult time.
