I think of you often, my dear friend. I am reminded to "find my patience" every time I look at the picture you made for me, after finishing my packing for my move back to Jersey! I couldn´t have done it without you. I miss our adventures, our Admirals games - just sitting around watching TV! We speak of you often - love you! Kate

So sorry to read of Mrs. Merritt' s passing. I had been trying to reach her since I read a posting she put on Fold3 in regard to a neighbor she had as a girl in Philadelphia, Grace Barbiere. She even posted a picture Cousin Grace had painted and gifted her parents. Ms. Lois must have been a wonderful lady!

I´m so sorry. My husband and I met Lois and her friend Sally on our trip to Rome. She was a wonderful woman, smart, well traveled and feisty! We loved her and met up again in France in 2019. She asked us to go to Panama Canal in November 2022, but canceled after her diagnosis. I´m just so saddened by her passing. She was such a bright light. Sally, if you see this, please email us at [email protected]. We loved Lois. We miss her already.

Lois was a dear friend and so kind to us when we moved into the Academy Hills neighborhood in Albuquerque. We spent many Super Bowl games and baseball games enjoying her company. She will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Oh Lois, I cherish our friendship so! I have looked forward - all through COVID - for my next visit to spend time with you at "the office" (the beach). But, I will instead reflect on many great memories of a late night glass of wine in our pajamas, scorpion games, skiing, concerts, neighborhood football night, and long evening conversations where I always fell asleep before you. And the Tacky Party!!
You were there for me at the most difficult time of my life. I count you among my oldest and truest of friends.
Rest in peace, Lois. Love you.

Oh, how We will miss you dear friend & neighbor! For over 10 years you have brightened our lives with your humor, tacky Christmas parties! We will especially miss you sitting across the street with a glass of wine and joking us as we hung our lights on our house at Christmas! We were happy that we got to see you last week. You blessed our lives and we have been better because of you.Our hearts go out to your family but know that you will be missed!

Our hearts go out to the family at this difficult time. Although I only knew her these past seven years, she was a dear friend to us. She will be sadly missed.

Rest easy my dear, dear friend. We shared many good times, and I can still hear you telling me to "find my patience "! I´ll miss you and am so happy that I saw you a few weeks ago and spoke to you a few days ago. Love you kiddo!

Oh Miss Lois you will be missed. I loved our lazy beach days together and going to Admirals Hockey games. God has gained a beautiful Angel. May your family find peace at this time.

Rest easy my dear, dear friend. We enjoyed many good times and adventures over the past several years - trips, Admirals hockey, dinners, and just hanging out. I don´t know what I would have done without your help when I was packing up to go back to NJ! I will treasure the sign you made me - "Find Your Patience"! I´m so glad I got to visit a few weeks ago, and talk with you last week. My condolences to the family.
