Lottie Webb Obituary
Virginia Beach - Lottie Mae Webb, 86, of the 2500 block of Oconee Avenue passed away July 6, 2014. She was born to the late Sally Edmonds and John Cheeks on January 10, 1928 in Littleton, NC. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James R. Webb. Lottie retired as a companion for Private Health Care. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA. Lottie leaves to cherish her memories daughters, Juanita Murphy, Jacqueline Brickhouse, Gwendolyn Jackson, Michelle Hearn, Nicole Webb, and Rosalind Scott; sons, Roger Webb and Troy Webb; twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held, 2pm, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. Norfolk. A viewing will be held, 2pm-8pm, Friday at the funeral home. Family and Friends will assemble 2565 Oconee Ave. Virginia Beach, VA 23454 one hour prior to the service.

I was saddened to learn that Aunt Lottie had passed. She is finally Home now. I pray we will find our comfort in the Lord, our God. Peace be with all.

Gwen, my dear friend. My love and thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. Miss Lottie was like a mom to me. I was always welcomed in her home. Miss Lottie's house was always filled with family and friend's and she always made room for one more. I'll never forget the fun times on Dalphine Lane, and the smell of chanel #5 whenever she was around. God bless you and your family, and take good care of each other always.
