Lucia Pearson Obituary
Lucia A. Pearson VIRGINIA BEACH - Lucia Assunta Pearson, 78, passed away Dec. 2, 2008. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Christian wake at 7 p.m. in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. A reception will follow at the Roma Lodge. Friends may send tributes to her permanent memorial at www.mem.com.

I met Lucia in 1980 and through the years I came to appreciate and respect her more and more. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. Whenever we saw each other, she greeted me with a big smile and the question, Come sta mamma? She was caring, thoughtful, and kind. Although, I will miss her and wish that she could have enriched our lives a little longer, I am privileged to have known her and will always think of her fondly. Thank you, Lucia.
