Margaret Barton Obituary
Hampton - Margaret Ellen (Ware) Barton, 84, went home to live eternally with her Savior and her beloved husband Ted on September 25th, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Louise Ware and her husband George (Ted) Barton. She leaves to treasure her memory her two sons, Stephen and Andrew; a daughter, Colleen; her grandchildren, Brant, Kandyce, Tiffany, Beth, Haley and Luke; a great-grandson, Ryley; brother, Edward Ware; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margaret was the consummate Mom and Pastor's wife. Nothing brought her greater joy than her journey through life alongside Pastor and Professor Ted. She was his queen and his eyes turned even bluer with love when she walked in the room. She will be remembered for her hospitality, her wise counsel and her enduring love and loyalty. She was a gifted pianist and soloist. Her family takes great comfort in knowing she is now in Heaven lending her beautiful voice to the Heavenly Choir.
A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Greenlawn Memorial Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow the service. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel on Thursday, September 28 from 7 to 8:30 P.M.
