I have been looking for Mrs. Michaels for a long time. She was one of my art teachers in Virginia Beach at Lynnhaven Jr High in the late 70's. A true treasure who taught me much. A golden heart. Thank you for showing us how we could change the world with colors, Mrs. Michaels.

I'm so sad to hear the passing of Marianne. I first met her when I student taught at Thalia Elementary back in 1976. We crossed paths many times during her career. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family and friends.

Scott and my condolences to Al and the family. I also taught art while Marianne was teaching in Va. Beach. I taught at both First Colonial HS and Cox HS. We enjoyed some outside socializing with Al & Marianne years ago. She was a terrific teacher, and a very loving person. She certainly made the world a better place!
