Mary Vincek Obituary
She is preceded in death by her father, Andrew Simon Roth, Sr., her mother, Katherine Pitonyak Roth, grandson, Gregory Taylor and her ten siblings, Andrew Jr., Rudolph, Frank, Steve, John, Joe, Anthony, Helen Pearce, Julia Galo and Annie Olah.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 77 years, Edward "Eddie" James Vincek; son, Ed Vincek (Nancy); daughters, Mary Taylor (Emory) and Anne Gwynn (Russell); grandchildren, Tommy Gwynn (Shaina), Eddie Vincek (Meggan), Danny Vincek (Kaleigh); four great-grandchildren, Liam and Declan Gwynn, Luke and Penny Vincek; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services to honor and remember Mary's life will be held as follows: Visitation will take place on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road Chesapeake, VA 23322. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 536 Homestead Road Chesapeake, VA 23321. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may also be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Anne's Society or charity of your choice. Friends are invited to share memories and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.
