The funeral for Aunt Nettie was special and meaningful as the pastor shared from Proverbs 31 and Dad told us about his little sister. Cousin Tim shared some memories and thanked the folks both at Little River Baptist Church and from the community for all they had done for Aunt Nettie and Uncle Jim. Thinking of you all.

We are sorry to hear of your Mother's passing, but know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Your parents were very nice people and we always enjoyed being around them! You will probably remember us from Southside in the mid-to late '60's as well as living next door to Tom and Nita.

Dear Cousins-Know our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you and your wonderful families as we shall remember so many precious days and events with your Mom and my Dear Aunt Nettie. A day at the beach at Oceanview is still so very real and special as was her sweet voice. We shall never forget her kindness and gentle manner. Love Dan and Sam Deal family-Burlington,NC

To Janeise, Sharon, Jim, Nathan, and Tim - An e-mail was sent to Fort Trial about your mom. My mother was told and she called me. Back in the 60's at Fort Trial, our two families were close and even went on a couple of vacations together. When we take a moment to reflect, memories can take us back as if it was just yesterday! My mother, Martha "Scott" Boyd is also 83. She also sends her love to you all. I can see each of you in my mind and I will remember each of you in my prayers in the coming weeks. Love you, Debbie "Scott" Parrish
