Odd Vinnelrod Obituary

Odd Vinnelrod, 94, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents, Johan and Sofie Vinnelrod and his wife, Marion S. Vinnelrod.

Mr. Vinnelrod was a member of the Sons of Norway and the American Legion of Nansemond River.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Grace Vogel and husband Mark; son Paul Vinnelrod and wife Theresa Gonzales; grandchildren, Christopher Vogel and wife Meryl, Mathew Vogel and wife Cam, Adam Vogel and wife Isabel, Rachel Vinnelrod, Emilio Vinnelrod; great grandchildren, Skylar, Rylee and Owen Vogel; siblings, Marie Johnson, Harald Vinnelrod and Johan Vinnelrod all of Norway and a sister-in-law, Eileen Jacobsen of New York.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday October 1, 2022 at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA. Burial will be private at Albert G. Horton Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity the American Heart Association. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.

SONS OF NORWAY lodge and enjoyed his cheerfullness always..
and we shared memories of where we came from in Norway...Andebu...Stokke...He will be missed!
