Pamela Cardona Obituary
Norfolk - Pamela Hogan Cardona 1946-2017
Pamela Hogan Cardona affectionately known to friends and family as "Teeny", passed away peacefully at home on March 9, after a long illness. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Efra Cardona, a son, Brady McGuire and his wife, Carrie of Sacramento, CA, her cherished dog, Halo, and five sisters, Celia Hogan, Liza Hogan (Bruce Marsden), Hunter "Honey" Hogan (Tony Percival) Mimi Harmon Hogan-Schaible, Jane Batten, and many nieces and nephews.
Daughter of Hunter and Mary "Pudge" Payne Hogan, Pam was an accomplished pianist, enjoyed flying, sailing, and cooking. She attended Norfolk Catholic High School, The Country Day School in Virginia Beach, and Converse College. She led a glamorous life as a flight attendant for Pan Am Airlines for 13 years, based in Washington, DC, London, and Hawaii. Her travels took her around the world where she made many international friends. Upon returning to Norfolk she received her pilot's license and was an Instrument Flight Instructor of single engine planes and worked in the Cytopathology field. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00pm on April 20, at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters | www.chkd.org or the Virginia Beach SPCA http://vbspca.com/donations/general-donations.

Dear Teeny,
Even though you were only 4 months older than I am, I always looked up to you as my "older" cousin! Whatever you and Celia did, I wanted to do also. I will forever cherish the memories we had at North Shore Point and Virginia Beach growing up....the many Easters we spent together with your Mom, Dad and family and Granny, Hunter and "Grape".
I know that you are joining all the others in Heaven raising a toast to the poor folks who are still earthlings!
