She was a dear friend since we were 12. We shared many laughs and tears. Her friendship in high school and later was a treasure. We hadn´t lived near each other for decades, but kept in touch and had many visits. I´m already missing her and my condolensces to Nadine, Anne and the family

Dear Family,
We would like to send loving healing thoughts to you all. We will always hold Sascha in our hearts. She was a part of our childhood and early adult life bringing her unique adventuresome perspective to all. We still value her introducing Bob Dylan to us. We always respected her drive to move forward despite whatever challenges she faced. May the memories of good times you have shared help ease the pain of your loss.
Fondly,
Barry and Louise Lubin

Dear Anne and Nadine, Jerry and I were so saddened to hear about Sasha. We visited her at Lake Taylor the last time we were in Norfolk in October. She truly loved her granddaughters and was proud of them. Our friendship goes back to when we were teenagers and even though we lost touch for awhile, when we reconnected it was almost as if time hadn't passed. She kept us young with her humor and her quirky lifestyle. She was a good friend with an incredibly kind heart and always cooking and cleaning and growing plants and herbs. Even though we lived far apart, she was in my thoughts a lot, and now the days won't be the same knowing that she is gone. I wish for you and your entire family peace and strength.
