Twindle was the first friend I met in Chesapeake. She introduced me to her mom, and I felt like I was home. We always had an awesome time. I miss her, but I know she is safe, warm, and at peace. xoxo

Twindle and Jeff, opened their hearts and home to me many years ago, all becoming family. Twindle's ever lasting smile, her love for her family and kindness to all is what I shall miss so much. I pray for Kim, David and family for strength during this most very difficult time. Sitting with a heavy heart thinking of all the fun we once had.

Having trouble here Twin, saying goodbye to you. This is important to Kim and therefore important to me - for you - so here goes.
Staying in close touch with a 3,000 mile separation takes a bit of effort and we did it. Your visits to California - heck, finding me - thank you Calvin. My visits to your home with Jeff and kids. Sixth grade to now - damn, that's a lot of years.
Young stuff is dancing in socks to shine the floor - my house, maybe yours too. Your Mamma and her Coca Cola's -heaven help the kid who took one without permission. Watching your Daddy lay that mosaic floor in the 'breeze-way'/extra room/ - whatever you call it, we had one too. Your brothers - always thought Skip was older - Calvin was the cutie always hanging around you, Timmy, the precious baby.
High school and that dang double date, how the devil did you talk me into that - TWICE. My "Sand Bridge Heartbreak"; the Junior Musical. Lorraine's wedding - remembering the 'Daisy Chain' - was close on the heels of the end of teenage bliss.
Then came the reunion in Portsmouth, you pregnant with Kim, or she was really tiny. Game nights with the 5 of us and the two dogs. As badly as those marriages ended, there were indeed some very good times.
My move to CA, you finding me via Calvin - now we add John and Jeff and Craig, Kim is nearly grown...and our story continues. So fun when you came down to Grace - so very sorry we could not have had more time together here - sorrier still that your health prevented it.
So very glad your life was part of my movie, our time together continues through your family and my connection to them. Not the same dear friend of mine, but a part of you. Thank you for sharing.

Twindle,
How heartbreaking your passing is. I've been flooded with memories of when we were kids, being together for the holidays and family reunions...we were always up to something and had such fun. Like the time you couldn't believe I was your uncle! How could I be? All of your other uncles were adults and we were so close in age! We laughed and laughed about it for such a long time.
I will always keep that special memory of you on your twenty first birthday when you were so young, beautiful and so full of life close to my heart forever. Travel safely. May you have blessed peace.
Love you always,
Uncle Jim

She was my dear sister-in-law, and loved very much. She will be missed by her family and friends, but is now surrounded by her family who loved her and left before, and cherished by her creator. Until we meet again, dear.

I remember Twindle mostly from my sister's child hood memories. I had the privilege of sort of getting to know her through Facebook. Her brother Skip and I went to school together. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family Kim. May God comfort you and give you peace at this most difficult time.

Want to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your whole family. I have so many fond memories of Twindle and I growing up together, we were inseparable. The many nights we spent the night together at her house giggling and laughing until 2 in the morning until Mrs. Umphlett came in and told us to calm down, as soon as she would leave, we start giggling again. To the time that she gave me a sweet 16 surprise birthday party. We sang in the church choir together and went on many double dates. We both worked at JCPenney's. When she got her yellow Mustang, we would go to Atlantic Avenue on the weekends. and when Mustang Sally came on the radio we would turn it up as loud as it would go and sing as loud as we could, we had the whole Avenue rocking. She was my maid of honor in my wedding and of course we were there when each one of our children were born. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. I love her and I miss her. Her loving friend Lorraine.

What wonderful memories we shared growing up in the same neighborhood, riding the same school bus and graduating together in the class of 68 from the best school EVER!! Those were the Best if Times! I am so glad I got to spend some time with you and share some laughter and some memories a few days before you went to glory!! I know you are celebrating with your mom and dad and husband. I know your loved ones feel comforted knowing you are now their guardian angel and that your earthy body is no longer suffering.
