Cody Hatfield Obituary

Cody Cessnin Hatfield, 27, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Alford and Olive Hatfield; and an aunt, Tana Clark.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Larry and Jamie Hatfield of Shepherdsville; mother and stepfather, Dee and Siegi Petzold of Louisville; sisters, Kristen (Kyle) Schmidt of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Jessica Griffin of Shepherdsville; his grandparents, Wanda and Jerry Clark of Shepherdsville; a nephew, Lane Griffin of Shepherdsville; and his girlfriend, Marsha Gollihue of Louisville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with Bro. Mark Veatch officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9 a.m. on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to The Healing Place in Louisville. Online condolences to the family may be made at maramanbillings.com

Cody has moved on to the next level. We will ALL see him again. I met Cody four years ago when he slept in a bunk above me. His artistic talents astounded me. And buddy he could make me laugh. We both worked security for awhile. It was a running joke that he couldn't walk past a mirror without telling himself he was a beast!! I believe I met you all once. It was a pleasure & a privilege to know Cody. It really was. Peace
