Davis Turner Obituary

Davis Owen Turner, 75, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
He was a native of Columbia, Ky., and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was co-owners of A-1 Lock and Key, a member of the Association of Locksmiths of America and Central State Locksmiths. He attended Glendale Christian Church and enjoyed playing and singing gospel music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lela Coomer Turner; and a sister, Jean Carolyn (Arthur) Frost.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Powell Turner; two daughters, Angela Turner and Amanda (Mike Cecil) Gary, all of Elizabethtown; one sister, Virginia Nell (Ken) Sturgeon of Shepherdsville; four grandchildren, Allison Kurfiss, Kallie Gary, Jared Kurfiss and Braden Gary; a niece, Kimberly Powell; and special friends, Murrell and Karen Burton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Mike Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Christian Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.brownfuneral.com
