Helen Darland Obituary
Helen was born on May 18, 1933, in Mackville, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Georgia (Shewmaker) Gabhart; two sisters, Norma (Gabhart) Smith and Sarah (Gabhart) Foster; and a brother, Kenneth Dalton Gabhart.
She is survived by her three children, Crystal Darland of Louisville, Cleon (Debbie) Darland of Mason, Ohio, and Gina (Joe) Sama of Wadsworth, Ohio; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two granddogs.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Schmid Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Mount Washington. Online condolences go to www.schmidfh.com

Helen and l were friends during our young years at Mackville School in Washington co.We started first grade together and graduated high school together.We graduated in 1951.Our class was small but we were very close.My sympathy goes out to all the family.Helen was always such a pretty girl.God bless and comfort you wall.
