she was the former lorena ambrose, a retired employee of king fish, former volunteer for old mill elementary school, and attended first baptist church of mount washington.
she enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles, and being with her family.
she was preceded in death by her husband, earl robinson; two children, brenda edsell and kenneth ambrose; her parents, thomas and myrtle ambrose; and her sister, joyce hirst.
lorena is survived by four children, sherry johnson (ernie), michael robinson, jeffrey robinson (sue), and tony robinson; along with 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and her beloved dog, chico.
funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. thursday at mcfarland-troutman-proffitt funeral home with entombment in evergreen cemetery. friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. wednesday and after 9 a.m. thursday. " />
