Randall Sullivan Obituary

Randall Thomas 'Randy' Sullivan Sr., 69, of Mount Washington, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sandra Brown Sullivan, the pride of his life, his son, Tom (Jackie) Sullivan; his precious grandchildren, Trey and Anna Sullivan and Brandon Tucker, along with many nieces and nephews whom he adored.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Freda Goldsmith Sullivan; his sister, Sherry Knight; and brother, Roger Sullivan.
Randy was a devout Christian and member of Southeast Christian Church. He was the beloved Patriarch of his family who loved him beyond measure. He was a respected businessman in his 43-year role as the agency manager for Kentucky Farm Bureau in Bullitt County, Shepherdsville. Randy was also an avid golfer and loved to make others laugh. He had countless close friends whom he loved and admired.
Per Randy's final wishes, a private service for immediate family only will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks for donations to a charity that Randy held in greatest regard Ñ https://inhisgripministry.org/ or P.O. Box 91026, Louisville 40291.
The family appreciates the care and compassion shown to Randy during his stay at Norton Brownsboro Hospital and encourages all individuals who have not been vaccinated to do so to help prevent anyone else from experiencing such a devastating loss.

My mom Betty Joseph (who was the voice of KFB for 35 years- retired 1994) absolutely thought the world of Randy Sullivan. He was like a friend to us instead of our insurance agent and has taken care of my family (James and myself) just about our entire married life. I just talked to on the phone it seems like just a few weeks ago...... talking about retirement. I was devastated last night to learn of his passing. We send our sincere love and prayers to you and your family at this sudden loss. Prayers for strength and comfort for the days ahead..... he was a true gentleman and loved what he did for the people of Kentucky. James & Joyce Nelson

Mary Ellen and I offer our deepest condolences to Sandy and the Sullivan/Brown Family. I have vivid memories of observing Randy and Sandy during their courtship. They and we are among those couples who were high school sweethearts that many say do not make the best marriages. I am happy and proud to say that they and we have proven that is not always the case. Both Randy and Sandy seemed to admire and love each other unconditionally.

Having not been in any contact over the years we remember with great fondness the fun and awesome times with the East Hardin Rebeleer Band. And, yes, Randy loved to make everyone laugh. Randy may have departed this life but his memory and impact will continue through his family and friends.

Please accept our sincere love during this difficult time.
