D'Andrea Boone Obituary
WEST PEORIA - D'Andrea Lanaya Boone, 27, of West Peoria passed away at 1:28 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born July 27, 1982, in Peoria, Ill., to Duane Boone and D'Arbra Welch.
She is survived by her parents, D'Arbra Welch and Duane Boone of West Peoria; one son, Demaurion F. Thomas of West Peoria; three siblings, D'Evyron (Sophia) Boone of Rockford, Delane Boone of Peoria and Duane Boone of Peoria. Also surviving are her maternal grandparents, Franklin and Cartheda Welch of Peoria; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Josephine Boone of Peoria; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
D'Andrea was a student at Robert Morris University, working toward her bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, and was a phlebotomist at the Peoria Red Cross.
She was a loving mother, devoted daughter and an adoring sister.
She was also a member of Zion Baptist Church in Peoria.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial service will be held at the Zion Baptist Church in Peoria at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010. A repast will follow the service at the church. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund established at CEFCU for her son, Demaurion F. Thomas.

D' I miss you so much. I've known you for 5 yrs and it was my pleasure to know such a kind, caring and loving woman as yourself. Every time i go thru my emails and phone I can't help but cry. You meant aot to me and you know this. I would much rather it be me than you. I remember picking you up from the train when you came out to visit me. I will never ever forget you. D'Andrea was a wonderful and fun lady who initially mistook me for a Professor and requested my help to write her resume. We wound up talking and I found my self, while unemployed, coming to school to talk and listen to her views of things that were going on around us. She is an AMAZING person and she will be missed. My sincere condolences.

My heart breaks for you, and I pray that God will bless you during this very difficult time. D'An is gone from this earth much too soon. She had the most beautiful smile, and I always looked forward to that when she was in my classes or stopping by the office. One of the last times we talked, she showed me a picture of Demaurion - she was so proud and rightly so.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss of D'Andrea. I worked with her for a short time during our externships at Proctor 1st Care in E. Peoria a few years back and she was a very sweet girl and always had a smile on her face. No words can describe the loss of a child, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family in this terribly difficult time.

I've met D'Ann in highschool and she seemed to always smile, joke, and be goofy. She was definitely sunshine! It saddens me to hear about her death. D'Ann this still doesn't feel real to me. I know you are in heaven smiling down on everyone. Because I have never seen you frown. I remember when we were in Morton once at a job fair and was there all day. We didn't even really know what the job was for but we both was applying. LOL We just knew the pay was good. Deann we have been bestfriends and sisters for to many years i dont know what i'm going to do without you, my heart aches so much. I remember when we were all they way out by burlington with your moms car and somebody hit us and you kept going you didn't want to tell your mom so we went home and went to sleep but oh no the police was there the next morning. I think we got grounded for like two weeks or so, where there was you there was me and i'm going to miss that and your big pretty smile saying it's ok. My mom Ms. Flecia said she loves and will miss you, you was her other daughter and thanks for keeping me going when i was down and out! I will always love and miss you big sis!!!!!!!!
