Dave was part of my second family, we were anesthesia residents at Strong together - he was my first OR buddy, and I knew he was special from day one! It is so unfair that someone so full of life and so much still to give this world has been taken from us too soon! We are worse off without him! Dave, buddy, may you finally be at peace! Thank you for making those 3 years of my life in Rochester with Franklyn, Suzie, Frank, Morgan, Kuhia and Russ so much fun! I am better because I always wanted to be as smart as you! Although I never achieved that, I am better because I knew you! I'll miss you Dave!

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. D'Souza at OSF for several years in surgery. He was one of the kindest and most gentle souls I've ever encountered. His bravery through his battle with cancer is something to be admired. He will be missed and remembered by all the lives he touched while here. RIP Dr. D. <3<3

I had the privelage of being a year behind David during my residency days at the University of Rochester. David was all about perfection, he did everything right and was always an example for us junior residents. I learned so much from him but what i remember the most is his sense of humor and smile. David you will be missed.

I worked with Dr. D'Souza, and will remember him as a kind, friendly guy. And, I don't know how many people knew this, but he LOVED cotton candy :) Talked about buying his own cotton candy maker. Rest in peace.
