WEST PEORIA - Doris Wiltermood, 71, of Allenville, the mother of a West Peoria resident, passed away at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services honoring her life will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Schilling Funeral Home, 1301 Charleston Ave., Mattoon, Ill., with Pastor Eddie Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, March 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
Doris was born on Sept. 25, 1941, in Newton, Ill., the daughter of Fred M. Boyd and Mary Lou (Robinson) Wiltermood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandchildren, Memphis and Jaxon Wiltermood.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Kaye (John) Rogers-Wofford of West Peoria, Ill.; sons, Joseph Fred (Holly) Wiltermood of Neoga, Ill., and Jr. (Monica) Wiltermood of Windsor, Ill.; daughter, Mary Ellen Wiltermood-Wofford of Allenville, Ill.; sons, Lyle Dean (Patty) Wiltermood of Windsor, Ill., and Charles Hayes of Owensborough, Ky.; 10 grandchildren, Stacie (Tristan) Wofford-Cregger of West Peoria, Ill., Jacob Wofford of West Peoria, Ill., Christopher Smith of Mattoon, Ill., Dustin (Samantha) Wiltermood of Mattoon, Ill., Dylan (Kylie) Wiltermood of Mattoon, Ill., Lowell Wiltermood of Windsor, Ill., Haley Wiltermood of Neoga, Ill., Breana Wiltermood of Windsor, Ill., Josh Wiltermood of Neoga, Ill., and Kelsie Allen of Sullivan, Ill.; three great-grandchildren, Silas, Daysie and Lucas; and two sisters, Violet (Jr.) Phillippi of Lerna, Ill., and Janet (Frank) Bryant of Mattoon, Ill.
Doris dedicated her life to helping others.
She retired after 32 years of devoted service from the Illinois Masonic Home.
Memorial donations in Doris' honor may be given to the Allenville Christian Church, 201 Allen St., Allenville, IL 61951.
