GALESBURG - Dustin A. Frazier II, 16, of 1889 Knox Road 900 E, Galesburg, Ill., died at 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, in rural Wataga, Ill., with his best friend, Quinn Donbrow, at his side.
He was born on Sept. 20, 1994, in Peoria, Ill.
Dustin is survived by his parents, Dustin A. (and Jenny) Frazier and Cindy Burns (and her fiance, Jim Parker) of Galesburg; maternal grandfather, Jerold Allen of London Mills, Ill.; maternal step grandfather, Raymond (and Kyu Cha) Samara of Dunlap, Ill.; paternal grandparents, Roger and Jenny Frazier of Galesburg; maternal great grandparents, Rabon and Roberta Wyatt of London Mills, Ill.; two brothers, Jacob Morey and Noah Stomberg, both of Galesburg; two sisters, Lydia Stomberg and Maggie Burns, both of Galesburg; and an aunt and uncle, Rachel and Rick Nelson of Galesburg.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Allen, and paternal great grandparents, John and Joanne Tracey and Ebert and Polly Frazier.
Dustin was to be a junior at Galesburg High School.
He was a St. Louis Cardinals and Mark Martin fan. He was an avid coin collector. He loved to be outdoors, where he trapped, fished and hunted.
He was an active ATV racer with Moose Racing as a sponsor. He received a first place in the OMA Series.
He played basketball with the Traveling Streaks and also with the 7th Grade George Churchill Basketball Team.
He loved to play basketball with his friends at the Wataga Park.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Chapel, with the Rev. James Ecklund officiating. A private family graveside memorial service will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
