I WAS IN FELIX' GRADUATING CLASS AND FIND HE WAS ABOUT 2 MONTHS OLDER THAN I. AT HS REUNIONS HE
ALWAYS MOURNED THAT WASH. D.C. DID NOT HAVE A KOREAN VETERANS'MEMORIAL. WELL, WE VISITED D'C' ON THE COLDEST DAY IN MARCH ONE YEAR, AND THEY HAD ERECTED A COLD, SNOWY MONUMENT TO THESE VETERANS. AT THE NEXT REUNION I GOT TO TALK TO FELIX ABOUT THIS AND HE WAS PLEASED.
THOSE WERE THE DAYS. MARY RICHMAN WARNOCK
IRONICALLY, I MENTIONED FELIX' NAME TO MY SON JUST YESTERDAY ABOUT THIS MONUMENT AND FELIX.

Karen and Nancy- our thoughts and prayers are with you. We know Felix was very loved. Karen always baked his favorite cookies and made every visit special, whether it was taking him to his nostalgic haunts in Peoria or sitting by his side in his Michigan home. She doted on him and he cherished her. Our hearts go out to you.
