Gabe was always a strong presence...it follows he leaves a strong absence. Growing up in school together, Gabe always seemed set on enjoying his time and his friends--always ready for a game and possessing a huge grin that would jump out at the drop of a hat, like some beautiful reflex. I remember what this family went through when their mother died. Like today, I was only ever an outside observer to this family's heartache. I was never close to any of them, Gabe included. But I didn't have to be to feel deeply for them in their grief. Like I said, Gabe was a strong presence, just as his family was within the Peoria community, and I too, feel the absence of the lost Tudors with a heavy heart. I wish you all nothing but the best. I leave you with my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Michelle, Jacob, Gabe and Jean Baptiste and hope that healing and peace find you all very soon.

Dr.

I had no idea that you were suffering the loss of your son the last couple of times I ran into you at the Y. Your faith and your spirit, and Mary Beth's faith and spirit, have always been genuine inspirations to me. Praying for you and your beautiful family.

To the Gabe Tudor family,
We are so sorry for your tragic loss. Not knowing Gabe or your family, as parents ourselves, we can sympathize and only begin to imagine the sorrow you are feeling. Gabe sounds like he was a wonderful young man and from a very close knit, loving family. After reading the Journal Star today, we are so very sad to learn that the bag of remembrances from Gabe's funeral was taken from your vehicle. Not only will we pray for that part of Gabe to be returned to you, we will also pray for your peace and healing. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many people.
With sincere sympathy,
Jodi Bouris and Jack Fulton

Dear Tudor family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am a co-head of delegation for the Rochester Flyers Special Olympics team in Rochester MN. Gabe was one of our coaches and an all around good guy. I didn't know him well but appreciated his work with our sports teams. I know the athletes enjoyed getting to know him as well. Rest in peace Gabe. You are very much missed!

Prayer for Gabriel Tudor

Lord, at the moment nothing seems to be able to help the loss I feel.
My heart is broken and my spirit mourns.
All I know is that Your grace is sufficient.
This day, this hour
Moment by moment
I choose to lean on You,
For when I am at my weakest Your strength is strongest.
I pour out my grief to You
And praise You that on one glorious day
When all suffering is extinguished and love has conquered
We shall walk together again.
I'm so sorry for your loss

It's a tragedy for us to lose such a good soul here on earth. Greg, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers especially during this holiday season.

Gabe, we knew you for just a short summer of 2016, but you stole our hearts. You were always so happy and cheerful, but at the same time such a serious student ready to put the hardest work to complete the scientific project. You will be always missed by your Croatian friends. Thank you for sharing those wonderful memories of summer 2016 in Rijeka with us. Our sincerest condolences to your family.
