Jennie and I are so sorry for the loss of Jim. He was one of the nicest individuals my wife and I had the pleasure of ever meeting and spending time with when we would have the time to spend with him. His premature death is a great loss for all of us and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
Take great care of yourself Jim and I look forward to playing golf with you again.

I am so saddened to hear of Jim's passing.
Jim was part of a very special group in the Caterpillar Truck Engine Division and always willing to help reps in the field.
When working late in any time zone, a quick call to Jim at the Truck Engine Call Center was always a great chat.
You will be missed! God Bless.

I will never forget the first time I met Jim in person, after years of phone conversations. We were out and it was getting later, so I told him I needed to check in with my wife. As soon as I dialed the phone, he grabbed it and when my wife answered, he said " Mrs. Clark, this is Corporal James Snodgrass with the Peoria, Illinois Police Department informing you that your husband has been arrested for leude misconduct and his bail hearing is tomorrow at 9am. He waited a moment and then let her off the hook. What a sense of humor! He was a great colleague, and I had the utmost respect for him. His knowledge and even demeanor, no matter how difficult the situation, he could help work it out.
I am so sad at his passing. He was one of the GOOD GUYS ! What a loss for the world.

Jim was a dear friend and colleague for more than a decade. I always looked forward to my trips to Peoria just so I could take time to see him. A kinder or gentler man there never was. I will miss him dearly.

Jim was a great person of dedication, passion, a true friend to all and will be missed. We could always have a laugh and turn a frown into a smile. I learned a lot from Jim and will remember those great memories shared in the Cat truck group.
