John Clore Obituary

John "J.C." Clore
CANTON – John "J.C." Clore, 66, of Canton, passed away at 7:15 AM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on January 29, 1950 to Boyce and Ruby (Coulter) Clore. He married Dana Canevit, she survives.
Also surviving are three children, Jeremy Vincent Chase Ziegenhorn of Lewistown, Jessica Dawn Clore of Canton, and Jasmine Desiree Clore in Canton; one nephew, Shawn Newlan; two nieces, Jenni Newlan and Elaina Tennison; and care taker, Wilma Ziegenhorn.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and sister, Nancy Clore of Canton.
J.C. worked as a laborer at SC2 in Bartonville, IL. He attended Berean Christian Church. J.C. was a musician, he played the keyboard for numerous bands. Several years ago, he had a Top 10 hit called "I Need Love".
Services will be held 2 PM on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1995 N. Main St., Canton, IL, where a visitation will be an hour prior. Father Rob Goebel will officiate. Burial will be at Fiatt Cemetery at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded following the services. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Fairview American Legion in Fairview from 12-2 PM. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.
