Joyce Schuck
WASHINGTON - Joyce "Joycie" Schuck, 84, of Washington passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Reflections Memory Care in Washington.
She was born on October 22, 1936, in Peoria, Ill., to Edward and Margaret (Blumenshine) Pfeffinger. She married Walter "Wally" Schuck on March 18, 1972.
Surviving are her husband, Wally Schuck of Washington; her daughter, Gina (Steve) Harris of Saratoga, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Ryann Harris and Camden Harris, both of Saratoga, Calif.
Joyce worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 15 years as a key punch operator.
She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church in Washington.
Joycie was an extremely kind woman who had so much love and joy in her. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was so welcoming and warm toward everyone. No matter what, she was always her amazing self. Joycie was funny, kind, joyous and warm.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastor Charlie McDonald officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, prior to the service at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines will be observed during the visitation and funeral service and masks are required.
Memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice Care.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
