PEORIA - Kenneth L. Ott, 87, of Peoria passed away at 12:36 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Kindred Hospital.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1924, in Hillsboro, Ill., to Chester A. and Blanche E. (Young) Ott. He married W. Ann Mullen on May 6, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo. She survives.
Also surviving are four children, Thomas W. Ott, Sally O. (Jerome) Armstrong, John S. (Crystal) Ott and Edward J. Ott, all of Peoria; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Zachary, Jeremy, Luke, Jake, Drew and Jennifer; and two sisters, Mary Jo Kenney and Nona (Ed) Ware, both of Hillsboro, Ill.
He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
Kenneth was a World War II Army veteran and was an attorney in Peoria for 50 years.
He was a member of the Peoria Bar Association for over 50 years and the V.F.W. in Hillsboro, Ill.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Wright & Salmon Mortuary. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, Ill.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Wildlife Prairie Park.
