Kevin Carr Obituary
PEORIA - Kevin Casey Carr, 61, of Peoria passed away at 11:27 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on January 7, 1960, in Peoria to the late James J. and Carol J. (Strunk) Carr. He married Elizabeth Miller on May 19, 1984, in Germantown Hills.
Surviving are his wife, Liz of Peoria; their daughter, Megan (Sean) Reder of Plano, TX; son-in-law, Nick Schmidt of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Oliver Reder of Plano, TX, and Derrick, Autumn and Emily Schmidt, all of Louisville, KY; and sister, Kelly (Greg) Marks of Chillicothe.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Erin M. Schmidt; and sister, Kathleen Peck.
Kevin was a plumber by profession and was employed as a maintenance technician by Amentum at Caterpillar Mossville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Private family services will be held. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin or Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville, KY.

Kevin was a great husband father and friend to me he was always up beat and happy going man we had a lot fun laughs together we discus work matters I’m going to miss him so for now I won’t say goodbye but until we meet again my friend RIP and to his family please expect the Abner’s condolences
