Lisa Winchell Obituary

PEORIA - Lisa Marie Winchell, 51, of Peoria died on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at 10:50 a.m. at Morton Terrace Care Center.

Lisa was born Oct. 3, 1960, in Peoria to R. Seth and Muriel Green Glenn. They preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Shawna Winchell of East Peoria; three sisters, Linda Glenn of New Orleans, La., Laurie (Gary) Feger of Delavan, Ill., and Lee Ann Glenn of Peoria; and one brother, David Glenn of Rockledge, Fla. Several nieces and nephews, two great-nieces and her boyfriend, Joe Raya, also survive.

Lisa was a 1978 graduate of Woodruff High School, where she played in the marching band.

She was a pharmacy technician for 20 years, last working as a waitress for Childer's Eatery.

She was a former member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Peoria.

A memorial benefit will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at the Morton VFW, 2310 Veterans Road, from 3 to 11 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded. Wright & Salmon Mortuary in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Lisa Winchell Benefit Fund through all CEFCU locations.
