Margaret Curry Obituary

MASON CITY - Margaret Avis Curry, 93, of Mason City died at 7:10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 17, 1915, the daughter of George and Avis (Suman) Henefeld in New Holland. She married Clifford Curry on Sept. 23, 1931. He died Oct. 17, 1986.

Survivors are one son, James (Delores) Curry of Mason City; one daughter, Donna (Lyle) Imig of Winter Haven, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one grandson, two brothers and five sisters.

Mrs. Curry was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Mason City.

She worked for Johnson Super Value Grocery Store.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Hurley Funeral Home, where visitation will be an hour and a half prior to service. Pastor John Johnson will officiate.

Memorials may be left to her church.

Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
