Mike was one of my favorite people of all time. I met him when I worked at Nike, and we continued to meet whenever I was in the Portland area even though I had moved out-of-town. I never had a better time than when we were sharing a meal, talking about things, or laughing about memories and amusing situations. Mike, I know you're in a better place, and look forward to catching up with you once I make it up there!

I had the pleasure of both working with Mike and playing senior softball with him in Salem over the past decade or so. Mike was one of the warmest, friendliest, and most sincere individuals I ever met. He was always quick to help others in need, rallied others when they were down, volunteered his time cheerfully, and re-directed credit due him to others. He was the ultimate gentleman. I feel greatly blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family alongside the wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly.

We are so sorry to read of Mike's passing. He never failed to offer a friendly greeting and a smile to us whenever we saw him at worship or other church functions. He will be greatly missed.

Mike was my nephew and he was a joy to all of us until the angels took him. His love for life, his humor and his love for his family and concern for his Mom was just a few things that made him special. He will be so missed, but will live in our hearts forever.
