Phillip Johnson
HANNA CITY - Phillip Eugene Johnson, 74, of Hanna City passed away at 3:24 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
He was born on January, 3, 1944, in Pekin, the son of Robert and Laura Hardt Johnson. He married Rebecca Jordan on June 20, 1980.
Phillip is survived by his wife of 37 years; one daughter, Georgia (John) Altic of Hanna City; one son, Troy (Barb) Clayton of Mapleton; two granddaughters, Emily (Jared) Rixstine and Lexi Clayton; three grandsons, Jacob Altic and Connor and Logan Clayton; and one sister, Mildred (George) Gregg of Yates City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leonard.
Phillip was the owner/operator of South Side Floors, Inc. until his retirement. He also farmed for many years.
He was a member of Bartonville Christian Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018, at his church. Family will greet friends for thirty minutes prior to services. Pastor Kevin Dell will officiate.
Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Logan-Trivoli Fire and Rescue or the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
