Raymond Sharp Obituary

PEORIA - Raymond S. "Ray" Sharp, 66, of Peoria passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at 2:57 p.m. at B'nai B'rith in Peoria.

Ray was born on Feb. 29, 1940, in Gary, Ind. He was raised by his parents, Herbert G. and Mary S. Skurtic Sharp. They preceded him in death.

He is survived by his three children, Michael J. Sharp, Vincent T. (Missy) Sharp and Melissa Hermacinski, all of Peoria Heights. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jacob and Alex Hermacinski, and Melody Sharp, all of Peoria Heights.

Ray worked in sales with the family business, Little Giant Products. He later went to work with Parc as a caretaker and last worked for L.R. Nelson on the assembly line before retiring.

Services will be on Saturday, May 27, 2006, at 7 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior to services, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Cremation will follow the services.

Memorial contributions for the benefit of the Sharp family may be made to CEFCU.
