As a child, I lived about 4-6 blocks from Ron. We went to Bunn Grade School and Lanphier High School together. YEARS ago, I had heard he had joined the military but then lost track of him. He was always a nice guy...I'm glad he enjoyed the love and respect of family and friends. With sympathy and prayers for strength to those whom he loved and those who loved him.

I went to Bunn Grade School and Lanphier High School with Ron and I'm very sorry to hear about his death. We just had our 45th class reunion last August and would have loved to see him one more time. I see that he made a very good life for himself and his family, but his time on earth wasn't long enough. Please accept my sincere sympathy in your loss.

Jaimee, my thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time. If you will contact me, I will send pictures of happier times that you shared with your dad.
My sincere condolences.

In memory of an incredible man, and the unconditional love his kids and other family members have always shown him...may comfort be yours and the most wonderful memories to cherish. The 3,000 block of NE Adams Street will never be quite the same without Barrington Arms & Antiques, nor will all the mom & pop restaurants that enjoyed his daily friendship & patronage. Rock Island & Tracy is still the prettiest corner in the Averyville neighborhood of Peoria's North Valley, bedecked with peonies the size of cantaloupes and deer gracefully munching apples right off the trees in the backyard. Everyone will miss you 'B' Barrington, even God's little creatures. Ron always had a twinkle in his eye, and a warm squeeze for the elderly, a helping hand for the unfortunate and misunderstood, and a very special love for his family. He had a pallate for creating good cookin' and a sharp eye for quality craftsmanship. There's so much to be remembered and learned from the legacy he leaves behind. May we all reflect, laugh, and learn from these memories until God calls us home, too. :-)

To Ron's children. We have known Ron & his family since Leslie was a very young toddler. We were friends with Nancy, Ron, Brenda & want to extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone of you. Sorry we have lost touch thru the years.
