Rose Pamela Foughty, 92, of Huntington, passed away at 4:00 am Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Miller's at Oak Pointe in Columbia City, IN.
Rose was born on August 5, 1933, in Swayzee, IN, the daughter of Franklin Pence and Eva (O'Neal) Pence. She graduated from Swayzee High School with the class of 1951. She worked at Miami Tool and Die for 13 years in the maintenance department. She was a member of the Awakening Community Church, as well as the VFW Post #2689 Auxiliary, both of Huntington. In her free time, she loved to spend time with family and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her Son, Daniel S. (Connie) George of LaFontaine, IN; Two Daughters, Diana S. Boger of Ft. Myers, FL, Delinda S. (Marty) Schmittler of South Whitley, IN; Two Daughter-In-Laws, Kristie George of Bluffton, IN, Jona George of Huntington, IN. She is preceded in death by her First Husband, William "Bill" George, Second Husband, Charles "Ed" Foughty, Son, Dean S. George, Son, David S. George, Brother, David Pence, Sister, Patricia Smith, Father, Franklin D. Pence, and Mother, Eva A. Pence.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Friday, October 3, 2025, at Adkins Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, October 3, 2025, at Adkins Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Dimond officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory.
