Albert Dally Obituary

Albert R. Dally, 73, of Pocono Pines, died on Friday, Jan. 12, at Liberty Nursing Home in Allentown. He is survived by his wife, Susan Birmingham Dally.

Born in Pen Argyl, he was the son of the late Francis and Catherine Zanetti Dally. He graduated from Lehigh University in 1960 with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.

He was the owner of the Blakeslee Inn and was a member of Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons: John Dally and his wife, Lisa, of Bethlehem, Frank Daly and his wife, Danielle, of North Huntingdon, Adam Dally, currently attending the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., and Alex Dally of Pocono Lake; a daughter, Denise Paulus and her husband, Don, of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, John Dally and his wife, Irene, of Blakeslee and Frank Dally and his wife, Patricia, of Easton; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit from 7 p.m. until the time of services on Thursday, Jan. 18, at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390 in Paradise Township. Pastor Luke Richards of Pocono Lake Wesleyan Church will conduct at memorial service at 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation services were entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an educational fund for his son, Alex, at First National Bank of Palmerton, Blakeslee, PA 18610.
