Christopher Clancey Obituary
He worked as a driller apprentice with his father for Warren George Inc. of Jersey City, N.J. He was a member of the Church of Our Lady of the Abingtons, Dalton.
He was a 2001 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School. He played football in High School and later for the Scranton Eagles and the Wilkes-Barre-Scranton Pioneers.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Jacqueline Ann Clancey of Paradise Valley; a sister, Caitlin Elizabeth Clancey; brothers, Ryan Patrick, Brendan John, and Dylan Reese Clancey, all of Paradise Valley; his paternal grandmother, Donna L. Reese of Factoryville; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the Church of Our Lady of the Abingtons, Dalton. Father Kevin P. Mulhern will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5 at the Anthony P. Litwin Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St., Factoryville.

Adora, Pat, Jackie and all of Chris' family,
My heart was filled with sadness when Mike told me about Chris. I remember his early years and the many visits that we had with him when we went to visit Pop Reese and Gram. The pictures we have of Kristin and Chris together, smiling and having fun with their grandparents, will be forever etched in my heart and my mind. Although I did not see Chris much as a young adult, I was thrilled to see him 4 years ago when he came to Kristin's graduation with Gram.
