Edward Coslar Jr., 79, of Cherry Valley, died Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus. He was the husband of Sylvia J. (Borger) Coslar with whom he shared 59 years of marriage, and who passed away January 20th, the day after his death.
Born on October 13, 1941 in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Edward Sr. and Lottie (Everitt) Coslar and was a lifetime resident of Cherry Valley.
He and his wife owned and operated the family business, Coslar Sanitation for many years and after retirement he worked part time for NAPA Auto Parts.
Ed was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1106 in Stroudsburg; was an avid bowler; and loved spending time with his family and friends in Daytona Beach, FL.
Surviving are a son, Craig Coslar and wife Shelly of Cherry Valley; two grandchildren, Paige Coslar and Austin Coslar; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Stout and Shirley Coffman.
A graveside service for he and his wife will be held on Saturday, January 30, at 11:00AM at Keller's Cherry Valley Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
