James Rehrig Obituary
Born in Lehighton, he was a son of James and Mary Ann May Rehrig of Palmerton.
He was currently employed by KCI Technologies of Hunt Valley, Md., as an inspector/supervisor. He was previously employed by Mahoning Township for over 20 years.
He served on the Lehighton Borough Council for several years.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife on their vacations and was an avid high-performance automobile enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his parents; three brothers, Timothy and his wife, Tammy, of Lehighton, Carl and his wife, Erica, of Lehighton and Thomas of Palmerton; and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday, at the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, Fourth & Iron streets, Lehighton, PA, 18235. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David R. Schnaars officiating. Interment will be held in private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to The Carbon County Friends of Animals, 900 Walnut Ave., Jim Thorpe, PA, 18229.
