Thomas Rehrig Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 20, 2025.
Thomas Matthew Rehrig, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on August 11, 2025, in Milton, Vermont. Born on July 14, 1967, in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was 58 years old. He was the son of Carole, who survives him, and was predeceased by his father, Frederick Sr.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Danette; his children, Matthew, Rebecca, and Rachel; his nephew, Kyle, who was like a son; his brother Frederick Jr.; and his step-children, Amanda, Kevin, and Michael. Tom was a proud Pop Pop to Levi, Griffin, Noah, Oakley, Ivy, Sophia, Mia, Mason, and Matt. His family was central to his life's journey and remained a source of pride and joy.

A force of nature who could do anything, "Tom, Tommy Boy" lived with energy and relentless adventure. Flying across the snow on skis or snowmobiles, ripping the dirt bike, out on the water fishing or wakeboarding, or blasting Rush and Zeppelin in the garage, Tom poured himself into everything he did. His natural drive to live fully not only shaped his life, but the lives of those around him.

Working for 40 years with unmatched skill and passion, Tom built a remarkable career in the pipeline industry, from the bottom to the top. He could operate any machine on the right-of-way and loved the intensity, guiding crews and spearheading projects that quietly kept the industry, and the nation, running. The pipeline was never simply a job. It was the work that defined his life.

Tom spent his last night on Lake Champlain with good friends and his Ned. His legacy lives on in his family, his work, and the hundreds of stories he leaves behind.

Tom's Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Bible Church of Hawk Mountain on Thursday, September 4th at 10:00 am.

12 Molino Rd, Orwigsburg, PA 17961 (with a blue roof)

Pastor Ben Bailey will be officiating.

Tom was a part of our runnin crew in HS...many fond memories of all the craziness we did back then. We recently reconnected and laughed about those days...times lost to youth.
Hugs and prayers for the entire family.
