Margaret Price of Willow Grove and a part-time resident of Buck Hill Falls for more than 20 years died on Monday, May 22.
Born in Millsboro, Del., on Aug. 8, 1918, she was the daughter of Alma and Emory Ellis.
She was her class valedictorian, then attended and graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
A registered nurse, she worked at Hahnermann Hospital and local facilities until 1999. She was very active in her community and volunteered for the American Red Cross, League of Women Voters and Meals on Wheels. She was also an active sculptor and painter.
She was the loving mother of Joseph, Penny, Drew, Kimberly and Anthony; loving grandmother of six grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Britton, Lee, Morgan and Anthony; three great-grandchildren, Sage, Judah and Soluna; and her life partner, August Falbo.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, May 31, at the Baron Rowland Funeral Home, 1509 Old York Road, Abington, where friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon with the Rev. Charles L. Dear Jr. presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The American Red Cross, 700 Spring St., Philadelphia PA 19123.

I will always remember Mother's smiling dispostion. She always had a smile on her face, and a 'can do' attitude. Full of life & young at heart. She is missed constantly, as not just a Mother, but a friend and confidant.
